For those who loves to work with opera web browser but not able to install opera on ubuntu either because you are new or any other reason. This is step by step tutorial for installing opera web browser.
Opera is a full-featured Internet tool, most notably a fully
standard conforming Web browser. Opera includes pop-up blocking, tabbed
browsing, integrated searches, and advanced functions like a password
manager, mouse gestures, native Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) support,
an email program, RSS newsfeeds, and IRC chat. It is designed to be fast
and highly customizable.
If you want to install opera web browser, firstly you need to download opera installer, click on the link below
www.opera.com/download/
Select vendor "ubuntu" and package "default package" and click on download opera.
once downloaded setup open terminal and move to directory where you have downloaded setup.
Type in Terminal
dpkg -i opera_11.60.1185_i386.deb
This will complete the installation.
Now you need to go--
Application -> Internet -> Opera
As soon as you click on opera a screen will pop out
Click on I Agree and as you click on it opera starts........
